Who we are
We are Jordi, Marc, and Pasqual.
Together, we are SUMO Arquitectes, a Barcelona-based studio established in 2007. Our practice embraces a multidisciplinary approach, delivering comprehensive solutions in architecture, urban planning, ephemeral installations, and interior design.
Our work is defined by a rigorous commitment to sustainability. By balancing passive strategies with active systems and conscious material selection, we aim to create buildings that are both efficient and enduring.
This philosophy has earned our projects significant recognition. Notable examples include the Sant Martí Multifunctional Building (Endesa Award 2013), the Vil·la Urània Civic Center (LEED Platinum & Green Solutions Award 2017), and La Mar Bella School (Mapei Award 2021), all of which stand as benchmarks for energy-efficient design in the Mediterranean context.
